Shabby Chic...Vintage...Not Me!

Another holiday challenge at Moxie Fab is to make a project that is vintage and shabby chic. I was going to just skip this challenge because those are two words that do not describe me or my style! But it wouldn't be stretching my style if I didn't try it, and that's the whole point of the challenge! The card is OK. Not very shabby chic, and only a little "vintagey" (yes I make up words), but overall I actually don't HATE it!! Whoo-hoo! :)
Supplies Used: SU! Cardstock and buttons, Jesus Is the Reason and Vintage Ledger stamps (Unity), Pink Paislee and American Crafts Ribbon, Paper Studio red rhinestones, Red Brick and Hint of Pesto VersaMagic Ink, Sizzix Holly & Berries Texture Plate

Unity Gives You Wings!

I made this card for the Etsy-Inspired challenge. The shop this week is Red Crow Arts. This was my inspiration piece.I hadn't used the heart with wings image from my August kit of the month yet, so I thought that this was the perfect time to use it. I wanted to make a simple one-layer card. I don't love how it turned out, I think I tried to put too much on a one-layer card maybe?
Supplies Used~Stamps: Following My Heart (August KOM), This is the Time, Fresh Beginnings (April KOM); Paper: Very Vanilla; Ink: VersaMagic Red Brick; Accessories: Shimmerz

Hey, How's It Hanging!

Welcome to my Hip Hop Hangover post! I'm keeping it short today to make up for my rambling and whining from yesterday! I made this card for a couple's 50th Anniversary. The lady I gave it to thought it said "clove" instead of "love" and was confused...If I use this stamp again, I will probably not ink the full thing. If you stare at it long enough, it DOES become "clove." Oh well, it's still a pretty card!Supplies Used: Perfect in Every Way (June KOM), White and Riding Hood Red CS, Baroque Burgundy Classic Ink, Quickutz Nesting Labels, Button, SU Ribbon, Stylized Flowers and Swiss Dots Embossing Dies

And here is a layout I did late last night, on a whim...just because I felt like it!Supplies Used: Distressed Dots, Shurberry Tree, Nostalgia Core'dinations cardstock, Shimmerz, Kaisercraft Rhinestones, Versamagic Hint of Pesto and Jumbo Java ink, SU! Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, Basic Grey Chipboard, Sandpaper
