Animal Love

Okay, to be honest with you, I am not an animal lover. I don't lovingly welcome dogs, cats, gerbils, birds, snakes, or any other kind of furry, feathery, or scaly thing into my home. There is a cat that has been living under my porch. It's taking care of a mice problem I had in the garage, so I try to give it milk...it doesn't seem to like it. I even went as far as to name it -- "Cat". Creative, I know. However, I do love my cute little animals on my paper and stamps. And how cute are these?!

It's Been Awhile

It's been awhile, so I think it's time for a scrapbook page! I FINALLY did one. And what's even more exciting is that there is STITCHING on my page! Just a little, but it's there. Remember when I said a Janome Sew Mini was in my future? I bet you didn't realize I meant NEAR FUTURE, huh?! Sufficiently Kicked

Remember the post a few days ago where I told you I was reaching out? Well, I reached out to another new stamp company called Taylored Expressions. I bought my first stamp set from them last week and it came today! Super fast shipping!! I stumbled on the blog while I was shopping and they have a sketch challenge. Yay! I love sketches! The sketch was so so so cute and I made two attempts at it...neither which I liked (probably because they were both so similar). So I would say that this sketch sufficiently kicked my behind...however I made them using ALL scraps!
